i wish i knew more ppl who liked anime in my area who weren’t like…..overly weird about it?? u know like the 12 year olds screaming about yaoi and saying “desu” every two seconds or the ppl who never shut up about it and don’t have a life outside of it….in middle school i tried to make friends w ppl who liked anime but they always acted really weird and elitist about it and i was like “lmao bye” and now the only ppl in my little anime nerd group are carrie anne and cyan and claire tbh
